Generous Gratitude

Athol Memorial Hospital Auxiliary President, Pauline “Polly” Briggs (second from left) accepts a $100,000 donation to the Auxiliary from Deborah Kelly and her husband Edmund “Ted” Kelly. The gift is in memory of Ms. Kelley’s father, Clifford Adams, who died earlier this year, and in honor of her mother, Virginia Adams (left), of Athol. Mrs. Adams is a longtime Auxiliary member, and Mr. Adams was a member of the all-volunteer organization. The family wanted to recognize the efforts of the Auxiliary and the care Mr. Adams received at the hospital. June 29, 2007
