Twice a year
Athol Memorial Hospital holds
Patient Care Excellence Awards to
honor staff and departments
recognized by patients for providing
exceptional care. Winners are
selected based on Patient
Satisfaction Survey returns. The
surveys, which are distributed as
part of Athol Memorial Hospital’s
“CARE (Customers Are Really
Everything) Initiative,” provide a
means for patients to evaluate their
treatment at the hospital. Quality
measures such as courtesy,
timeliness, and comfort are tracked
and patients have the opportunity to
cite individual staff members with a
“pat on the back” for a job well
done. Claude Valiquette, RN, who
tends to patients in the hospital’s
Short Stay Unit, is the most recent
individual staff winner. The Short
Stay Unit received the departmental
award. |
