Registered Nurse - ICU

24 hours/evenings and 32 hours/evenings

Position Summary: Provides direct and indirect patient care in the critical care setting. Communicates with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. Participates in performance improvement activities. Position Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; current state Registered Nurse Licensure; two or more years of recent critical care experience and successful completion of critical care course; current ACLS and BCLS certification. Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred. Basic computer knowledge.


Registered Nurse - Med/Surg

24 hrs/3rd shift

Position Summary: Provides direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical setting. Communicates with physicians/Nurse Manager/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.             Position Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; current state Registered Nurse Licensure, within state of practice; current BCLS certification; successful completion of arrhythmia course. Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred. Basic computer knowledge.


Registered Nurse - ICU

24 hours/3rd Shift

Speech/Language Pathologist - Rehab. Services

up to 32 hours/days

Position Summary: Responsible for administration and direct application of speech/language pathology interventions as outlined in the Board of Registration of Speech and Audiology Licensure Standards. Evaluates, plans, directs and treats all patients referred to speech/language pathology to obtain maximum performance and function and prevent disability following disease or injury. Participates in performance improvement activities within the department and hospital-wide as needed. Assists in the daily operations of the Rehabilitation Department related to speech/language pathology. Performs some administrative duties at the delegation of the Manager of Rehabilitation Services. Participates in infection control, safety and educational programs, both in the department and hospital wide.                                                                                Position Requirements: Masters degree from an approved college or school of speech/language pathology; current State Licensure in Speech Pathology (as Speech Pathologist); knowledge of principals and practice of speech pathology; performance of technical skills related to speech pathology; knowledge of infection control, sterile technique and related impact on rehabilitative medicine practice and equipment. Current BCLS certification. Basic computer knowledge. Knowledge of equipment utilized in the diagnosis, evaluation and treatment of speech pathology. Must be able to determine appropriate patient procedures and evaluate results. Appropriate telephone communication skills.

 

Occupational Therapist  - Rehab. Services

35 hours/1st shift                                                                                         

Position Summary:  Responsible for the evaluation, planning, directing and administering of occupational therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician.  Administers treatments and occupational agents as prescribed by a referring physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.  Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.  Position Requirements: Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association. Graduate from an approved school of Occupational Therapy. Three (3) or more years of previous experience in all aspects of occupational therapy. Current BLS certification. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Additional languages preferred. Strong written and verbal skills. Basic computer knowledge. Knowledge of physical medicine, physical therapy modalities, anatomy and physiology. Knowledge of physical and occupational therapy machine operation.

 
Diet Aide - Food Services

22.5 hours/1st shift

Position Summary:  Performs a variety of assigned cafeteria and kitchen duties in preparation to serve patients, staff and visitors.                                                                                                                                                                        Position Requirements: High School graduate or equivalent. Previous experience. Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Excellent communication skills. Excellent customer service skills; pleasant personality.
