Excellence Recognized  

Maria Anger, Cardio-Pulmonary Services Department EKG coordinator and technician, recently received Athol Memorial Hospital’s Patient Care Excellence Award for highest honors in providing exceptional customer service.  The awards, which are held twice a year, recognize individual staff members and departments based on the results of Patient Satisfaction Surveys.  The surveys, part of Athol Memorial Hospital’s “CARE (Customers Are Really Everything) Initiative,” are distributed to hospital patients.  Patients are asked to evaluate their treatment based on quality measures such as courtesy, timeliness, and comfort and have the opportunity to give a “pat on the back” for a job well done.  Cardio-Pulmonary Services won the departmental award.
