Position Summary:
Functions as the prime resource for nutritional care and diet therapy
of both inpatients and outpatients working under the direction of the
attending physician.
Position Requirements:
B.S. Degree; MA State Licensure or, if eligible, licensed within 120 days
from date of hire; registered with the American Dietetic Association
(preferred); Two (2) years of similar experience within a hospital setting
(preferred); ability to read and communicate effectively in English; basic
computer knowledge; pleasant personality.
RN – Surgical Services
Position Summary:
Provides direct patient care from pediatric
through geriatric patient populations.
Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care
related to the surgical environment.
Communicates with surgeon and anesthesiologist continuously and as
needed about patient condition.
Assists with the maintenance of surgical equipment and inventory.
Participates in performance improvement activities.
Assesses operating room for equipment functioning and readiness,
obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of
surgical operating team are met.
Monitors, positions and assists patient during procedure.
Position Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Current Registered Nurse
licensure in the State of Massachusetts; Current BCLS certification; Current
ACLS or Basic EKG or Arrhythmia-identification certification; Minimum of one
(1) year work experience in the operating room.
RN – Emergency Dept.
Position Summary: Provides
professional nursing care within the Emergency Department; coordinates care
planning with other disciplines.
Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of
care. Determines priorities of
care based on physical and psychosocial needs of patients, as well as
factors influencing patient flow through the system.
Communicates with ED physicians regarding changes in patient’s
status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies.
Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response
to treatment.
Position Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Current Registered Nurse
licensure in the State of Massachusetts; Current BCLS certification; Current
ACLS, PALS, TNCC preferred. Minimum of one
(2) year critical care work experience.
Maintenance Worker
(must have 2nd class fireman's license)
Position Summary: Assists in performing a variety of skilled and semi-skilled jobs
in and about the building and grounds, such as painting, electrical,
plumbing, carpentry, security, groundskeeping, custsdial, labor, roofing,
cabling, mechanical repairs and equipment and facility inspections. Assumes
some duties of Plant Engineer in their absence.
Position
Requirements:
High School graduate or equivalent.; MA Driver’s
License with clear RMV background check;
must have 2nd class
fireman’s license; 3+ years experience in similar position; ability to
pass background check and/or drug test.
Respiratory Therapist -
Cardio-Pulmonary;
Scheduled as needed,
days or overnights
Position Summary:
Perform all technical skills related to Respiratory Care for all age
groups; perform various tasks on computers; assist with maintaining an
orderly and clean department, check and restock supplies and when low,
request them to be reordered; assist manager with QI and various tasks;
evaluate therapy for appropriateness and make appropriate clinical
decisions; contact physicians for order changes and to report diagnostic
results. Services provided
include, but not limited to:
NIPPV; use of BMV with PEEP Valve as needed; assist physicians with
intubations; mechanical ventilation, weaning and extubation; medication
delivery; CA Therapy; ABGs;
non-invasive co-oximetry and pulse-oximetry; CPT; NT Suctioning and other
suctioning methods; Sputum Induction; Heliox Therapy; non-invasive
cardiology diagnostic testing (including EKGs, monitor hook-ups, charging,
filing, picking up and processing EKGs completed by CCTs).
Position Requirements:
CRT or RRT NBRC credentials; minimum of 1 year experience as a licensed
Respiratory Therapist in an acute care setting; current MA License; BCLS for
Healthcare Providers; ACLS preferred.
